In this bonus episode, Zoe Lenkiewicz joined me on the Green Living Chats podcast to discuss two of her top projects in 2020 in The Gambia and Indonesia with WasteAid.
Zoe has over 20 years of experience developing and implementing sustainable waste management and circular economy initiatives within government, businesses and civil society. She is the driving force at WasteAid to attract international attention to the power of waste management for global development. Growing WasteAid from the ground up, she combines scientific, creative and leadership skills with strategic waste management expertise and also the chief author for the award-winning WasteAid toolkit Making Waste Work. She joined the CSC Global Leaders alumnus and was named a “Woman of Influence” by The Planner and “100 Women Creating a Better Africa”, a Chatham House Common Futures speaker and judge in the 2020 Africa Green Grants Awards.
